Render to File
This renders the fractal to a file. The file is in the Images folder.
- Orientation
- Choose either Landscape or Portrait
- Aspect Ration
- Choose aspect ratio.
- iPhone - Use the spinner to get the exact size.
- iPad - Use the spinner to get the exact size.
- Width
- Image width. Obeys Aspect Ratio lock, if set.
- Height
- Image height. Obeys Aspect Ratio lock, if set.
- Aspect Ratio Lock
- If set, aspect ratio is preserved when editing width or height.
- Quality
- Render quality.
- Output File Type
- Choose one of: Png, Jpeg, or Heic.
- Render Time
- Estimated render time.
- Advanced Overrides
- Open Overrides view.
Advanced Render Overrides
Note: Fractal Architect does not require Oversampled image rendering for effective anti-aliasing.
Oversampling may prevent images from rendering because of the much greater memory requirement.
There is absolutely no advantage to using oversampling.
(With other flame fractal apps, this is not true.)
- Oversample
- Oversample from 1x to 4x.
- Recommendation: Leave it at value of 1.
- Filter
- Spacial filter strength used for image size reduction.
- Ignored for Oversample value = 1.
- Filter Shape
- Select a filter shape.
- Ignored for Oversample value = 1.
- Adaptive Gamma
- Automatically djusts image brightness for points not impacting the fractal histogram.
- Highlight Clipping
- Enable / disable Highlight Clipping.
